Its another midweek, halfway to the end of another week, Whew! I know some of us are already tired of the week and want it to go away.

Don’t be in a hurry! Each day would always come and go. Just ensure you are getting things done, ticking off your list and then rewarding yourself with good rest or pampering as the case may be. Now back to what you clicked this link, The Unsung Heroes series! I would like to know what you think about it so far, so make sure to leave a comment below.

“Be you, and unapologetically so.”

Dear Queen,

Thank you for being the personification of strength.

For being there, especially when I thought I could do it all on my own.

You’re the one person who has always come through for me,

The one person who will love me like no one else can.

Thank you for being my Unsung Hero.

Having you as a mom taught me that matriarchs are just as strong (if not stronger) than patriarchs.

That just the smallest bit of faith can get you far,

That “no white after Labor Day” is actually a thing,

That I can always be better,

And that I am not what I’ve been through.

You are why I’m proud to be a woman,

And why I want to fight for other women.

Thank you for always believing that I’ll be great,

And I can’t wait to give you the world you deserve.

This is for you, Queen.
